My all-time favorite flower, the sunflower, has arrived (last month actually - I'm just a little late writing this)! My first bloom, which is in my favorite color, is 11 inches in diameter! OMG! The second is 8 ¾.

Are sunflowers just beautiful! I didn't get around to planting any this year, but nature took care of me any way and self-seeded some of the bird seed in our feeders, providing me with some glorious huge sunflowers. Found your blog via Silver Bella - hope to meet you there!
